Barry Van Dyke was born on the 31st of July, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born as the second son of the legendary American actor Dick Van Dyke and his first wife Margie Willett. Barry grew up in New York and spent 9 amazing years at the city that never sleeps. However, his family later moved to Los Angeles and he was raised by his stepmother Arlene Silver-Van Dyke. Dyke is ethnically White and is American by nationality.
Looking at his academics, Dyke completed his basic education in Atlanta itself. He, however, went on to join the Pierce Junior College in Los Angeles. Barry later graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from the institution.
