George Stephanopoulos is a well known American journalist. Besides a journalist, he is also known as a political commentator, former Democratic political advisor, and operative. He was born to parents Nickolitsa “Nikki” Gloria and Robert George Stephanopoulos who are of Greek descent. George’s father was a Greek priest while his mother worked in e Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America National News Service as a director for many years. He went to Orange High School in Pepper Pike and graduated from Columbia University in New York majoring in political science. As per his father’s wish, George went on to take the job of an aide Democratic Congressman Ed Feighan of Ohio. Later he graduated from Oxford with a master’s degree in Theology.
