Kim Seok Jin who goes by the name “Jin” of the South Korean K-pop boy band group Bangtan Boys (BTS). Along with vocalist and dancer, he is also a songwriter. Big Hit Entertainment discovered him while he was in the university while auditioning as an actor. However, the entertainment company transitioned him as a Korean idol trainee.

The veteran K-pop member was born on 4 December 1992 in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. According to reports, he came from a rich family, however, Jin himself has not provided information on her parents or early years. He has an older brother, Kim Seok Jung who co-owns a Japanese-style restaurant ‘Ossu Seiromushi’ in Seoul along with Jin in 2018.
Regarding his education, he was discovered by South Korean K-pop agency SM Entertainment while studying in junior high school. But he rejected at that time and later he became interested in acting. So, he joined Konkuk University from where he graduated with a degree in art and acting in February 2017. Recently, he had enrolled at Hanyang Cyber University to pursue his graduate study.
