Salli Richardson is an American actress and an entertainer who is famous for her role in “A Low Down Dirty Shame”, 1994s hit comedy-action movie and “I am Legend” in which she came into view with one of the best actors in Hollywood, Will Smith. She is also a voice actress and has acted on one of the Disney animated series “Gargoyles”.

The talented television personality was born as Salli Richardson on November 23, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois. She grew up alongside three brothers; Josh, Chad, and Nalin. She is from a mixed-race family with her father who is Irish-Italian (white) and mother who is African American (black). However, Salli considers herself a black person.

Talking about her educational background, she graduated from the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. Richardson was a tennis player in her high school days. Moreover, she got a chance to show her acting skills in the Kuumba Workshop theater, for the first time.

Salli later claimed that the news was false and she is still living happily with her spouse, Dondre Whitfield.

The couple has two kids; one daughter, Parker Richardson-Whitfield another one is a son, Dondre Terrell Whitfield.
