Jamell Maurice Demons aka YNW Melly is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. His stage name abbriviates to ‘Young Nigga World’. Additionally, he is popular among a wide range of people because of his songs like ‘Murder on My Mind’, ‘Suicidal’, and ‘Mixed Personalities’. The rapper first came in to public attention in the year 2018, when the police arrested him for his attempt to first-degree murder of his own friends Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr. Similarly, the police also suspected him in the 2017 murder of sheriff’s deputy in Gifford. However, after 2 years in March 2019, the court announced Demons not guilty of the double-murder charges.

Melly was born to his parents on 1 May 1999, in Gifford, Florida. During his childhood, he spent a lot of his time with his single mother Jamie Demons-King in Florida.
