She has Chinese ancestry and holds the nationality of American, following Christianity. Additionally, her family emigrated to the United States as a Vietnamese refugees in 1975, following the Vietnam War, and settled in Oklahoma. But no information on her parents or siblings as well as her educational qualifications.

She had married his first ex-husband Winston Munn who has mixed ethnicity of German, Irish, and English ancestry.
