Savannah Guthrie was born on December 27, 1971, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia which makes her nationality an Australian originally. Guthrie’s father was stationed in Australia which is why they lived there. However, her father was transferred back and she returned to the United States, Arizona. Similarly, Savannah went to Amphitheater High School in Tucson. After graduating high school, she received a degree in journalism from the University of Arizona.
