Alina Golovkina is a Kazakh-born former model who is famous as the wife of the boxing legend, Gennady Golovkin. Gennady is still one of the biggest names in the sport and is the middleweight champion. Whilst she might not be as famous as Golovkina, Alina has certainly been one of the biggest reasons for the success of Golovkin.

Now coming to her ethnic backgrounds, Alina is Asian by ethnicity and evidently a Kazakh by nationality. As per reports, she did complete her schooling from her hometown. Whilst a good student, Alina had a passion for the fashion industry from a very young age. Moreover, she was a beautiful young girl and her friends made her want to pursue a career in modeling.

Upon graduating from her high school, Alina began her career as a model. It was a short stint but she was able to establish herself as one of the most beautiful faces in the industry. Now coming into the personal aspects of Alina’s life, she is a married woman. She has been together with her longtime boyfriend Gennady Golovkin for over 12 years now. The two said their vows on the 7th of July, 2007. Alina later gave birth to the couples first child, Vadim Golovkin. They named him after Golovkin’s grandfather who died serving for the Russian military.

Alina next gave birth to a baby girl on the 9th of September, 2017. Gennady, however, was not able to attend this special occasion as he was training for a fight with Alvarez. Golovkina later confessed that she wanted her husband to retire from the sport so the family could spend more quality time together.
