The singer was born on 29 June 1989, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the United States of America. He was born as the youngest son of parents Roonie Leittem-Murrell and Joe Murrell. His mother worked as a theology teacher in local schools while no information on his father. He has three brothers: Jake, Patrick, and Thomas with whom he grew up.
