Maureen Maher: Early Life and Education
Maureen Maher was born in the year 1982, in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Whilst her nationality is American, Maher is of Irish ethnicity. We have not got anything to share about her biological parents as they gave her up for adoption when she was an infant due to their financial condition.
Now looking at her education, Maureen attended the Loyola University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and graduated in 1991. From a very young age, she began piecing her own stories together and gathering details and it was only fitting that she went on to the journalism field.

Upon graduation, Maureen began working as a morning drive news anchor for a Chicago-based FM called WLUW. She worked at WLUW for a year before moving to Detroit for a TV station WJBK_TV. Whilst she was working with the network as an anchor, she also began working with CBS radio station WWJ.

During that time, Maher was responsible for covering events like Decker farm raid and Oklahoma City bombing. She then left WJRT-TV in 1997 and began working as a correspondent for CBS Newspath in Chicago. Whilst working for CBS, she covered the massive story of the impeachment of Bill Clinton. She was also the Evening News reporter for the network. Looking into more recent years, Maher has been the anchor of the show, 48 Hours Mystery.
