Nancy Cordes: early life, education, and career
Nancy was born on August 10, 1970, in Los Angeles. She is the daughter Linda Weiner who is a pediatrician. However, there’s not any information regarding her father. She grew up on islands of Kauai and Oahu, Hawaii.
She had attended Punahou School, Honolulu and graduated from the very school. Later on, Cordes joined Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and got a master’s degree in public policy. In 1995, she also received Phi Beta Kappa and Magna cum laude graduating from the reputed University of Pennsylvania.

Cordes started her career as a reporter from 1995 in KHNL-TV in Honolulu. Later on, she joined WJLA-TV, Washington D.C. in 1999. During that time, she famously covered many reports which include peacekeeping efforts in Bosnia, the 2000 presidential race, and the D.C. area sniper attacks. In 2003, she went on to join NewsOne, affiliated to ABC news which is based on Washington. After two years, as a News correspondent, she joined ABC News alongside Diane Macedo. There she had featured many major of the stories includes the war in Iraq, Hurricane Katrina, and 2004 election. From 2007, Cordes began working as a congressional correspondent for CBS News.

Although Cordes is in the limelight, she does not like to talk about her personal life in public. However, it is reported that she is married and had a private wedding.
