Julia Boorstin was born on 4th December 1978 to her parents named Paul Boorstin and Sharon Boorstin. She was born in a family of elites meaning her mother was an author while her father was a producer and writer of television documentaries. Later, Julia went to Princeton University and graduated with a B.A degree in history. Other notable alumni of Princeton’s Arts degree is Molly Ephraim. 

She began her career working as an editor in The Daily Princetonian. Later she also worked as a business writer and reporter for the Fortune Magazine. They eventually began dating after returning to New York when Julia invited Couper while he was filming for a new movie named, “The Ex”.

Finally on the day of 16th December 2007, after three years of dating Julia and Couper officially tied the knot in a private ceremony. In the event, only the close ones to the bride and groom got an invitation. Their marriage was also covered and printed on the New York Time’s issue of the year 2007 with a little backstory of how they met. The couple has been blissfully married ever since. Finally, after fours years of marriage, they gave birth to their first child, a baby boy in June of 2011. The couple named their son Henry.
