Francesco Stephen Castelluccio was born on the 3rd of May, 1934, in Newark, New Jersey. He was born to extremely caring and supportive parents. Whilst his dad Anthony was a barber and a hairstylist, his mother was a housemaker who also did work for a beer company.

Frankie began his professional career in the early ’50s with the band “Variety Trio”. Things started for him when he was singing in public and was offered to sing for the band. Later in 1956, the group changed its name to, “The Four Lovers”. However, just a couple of years later, Nickie DeVito and Hank Majewski left the group to give way to Nick Macioci and Hugh Garrity. Next, in 1959, Bob Gaudio joined the band and thus the band “The Four Seasons” came into the world. It was one of the most popular groups in the 60s and 70s. In more recent years, Valli has been with the group New Jersey Boys. With the group, he has been traveling all over the world and their story was later adapted into a movie.
