The author was born on 20 April 1973 as Julia Anne Foster under the zodiac sign, Taurus. She was born as the daughter of her parents John Landrum and Kay Elaine Carradine Foster in Austin, Texas. Further, she had a sibling: a brother named Jordan Foster. Regarding her education, she graduated from Amherst College in 1995 with a double major in theater and creative writing.
