Jürgen Damm: early life and education
Damm was born on November 7, 1992, in the Coastal City of Tuxpan, State of Veracruz, Mexico. His paternal grandfather is from Germany, as a result, he belongs to the German ethnicity. There is not much information about his parents and sibling until now.
At the age of 2, his family moved to Canada. After staying for two years in Canada, his family moved back to Mexico and settled in Guadalajara. His father wanted Damm to continue his studies and for that reason, he was not allowed to play for any football club until the age of 17.

Damm began his career as a footballer in 2011. His impact on the team was noticed after debuting with Estudiantes Tecos at the age of 18. Prior to Tecos, he had played for just over 6 months for Atlas in 2011 after spotted by Magdaleno Mercado. Then later on 25th March 2012, he started to play for Liga MX. But the year was not as beneficial for him as the team lost the game to Monterrey. Later he transferred to Pachuca but before he managed to play several seasons with the team Liga MX.
After joining Pachuca, he was able to play regularly from the year 2013 to 2015. During his first season with the team, he had appeared in every game. He scored his first career goal against Guadalajara on 20th October 2013. He made to final of the Clausura 2014 with the club in the second season. The team reaches the final but lost the game against Leon with a 3-4 score.
At the beginning of the second season, he started injury with Apertura 2014. Therefore, he had to miss 8 games but he returned in the same year with full power. He also participated in 2014-2015 CONCACAF Championship League. The championship League second leg offered the team the opportunity to play in December’s FIFA Club World Cup. In an exclusive speaking with an ESPN, he had said that he had a dream to play world cup with the European club in Championship League.
