The beautiful reporter was born on 22 July 1983, in Walnutport, Pennslyvania, the United States. She was born as the only daughter of Sara and Dan Marakovits. She has two older siblings whose identity has not been revealed in the media. There is not much information on her early childhood days. But she built an interest in sports after her father who had been an outstanding basketball player for many years. Later he went on to be the coach of several high school teams. This is how she became interested in sports and reporting.
For her education, she had graduated from Central Catholic High School in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Then she went on to join La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and she graduated in 2005. In addition, she joined the college after getting a scholarship to play volleyball at the NCAA Division I level at the university.
