She was just 5 years old while she was busy with commercials and before she was 10 she was already signed to the Amuse, Inc. that was after she came as the runner-up in the company’s 2nd Star Kids Audition.
Next, Suzuka was made to be a part of a group named the Karen Girl’s. Its theme song for Zettai Karen Children was one of the main highlights of a group. The band was disbanded after the series ended.
Then later in 2010, she became a member of the Japanese idol girl group, Sakura Gakuin. Sakura Gakuin released its first album in 2011. Babymetal emerged from the group Sakura Gakuin, that’s when the singer got her big break. The group Babymetal was created with Suzuka as the leader and Yui Mizuno and Moa Kikuchi as members.
Moreover, the group rose to be very popular with its mixture of heavy metal and various other genres. Its debut album, BABYMETAL was highly successful not only in Japan but all over the world.
Together with the band, Nakamoto won many awards such as the Best Metal Act during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards Japan, Best Japan Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards and the Rock Goddess of the Year 2016 which Su-Metal won during the Loudwire 6th Annual Music Awards in 2017.
