Autumn Snyder is the daughter of the producer/director Zack Snyder who tragically passed away at the age of 20 after a successful suicide attempt. Many remember Autumn from the movie “Man of Steel” where she appeared in a cameo role. She had much to offer to the world but for the sad incident, we will never hear of her again.

Autumn Snyder: Early Life, Education, and Career
Autumn Snyder was born on the 27th of November in 1996. She is the daughter of Zack with his first wife Denise Webber. She, however, is not their biological daughter but an adopted daughter. The couple had two biological children in Olivia and Elli and Autumn and Willow were adopted from China.
Before killing herself, Autumn was a student at Sarah Lawrence College where she was a writer. She was working on her own sci-fi fantasy novel and she was an extremely promising child.

Autumn was also interested in social works. In 2014, she engaged herself in a Crowd Rise campaign which works to raise money for the homeless women and their kids. For her novel, she collaborated with ‘The Elizabeth House’ which is a non-profit organization.
Autumn Snyder: Death
Autumn passed away on the 20th of March on 2017. The details of her death are unknown and the information is kept private and away from the media. However, we do know that she took her own life. It was a tragic incident and no one knows why the young, talented kid decided to take such a drastic step to take her own life.

It did seem like she was enjoying a happy life with her parents and siblings. She was working on a novel and hoping to publish it and send all proceeds to a charity. But things do not always work out the way you want it to. The most likely conclusion from all this is that she was probably going through depression.

After the death of Autumn, Zack took a two-week break from Justice League, which was the film he was working on. He later decided to step down from the project after realizing the needs of his other children.

As a result of Autumn’s death, many actors and people from the entertainment industry rallied to show support to Zack and his family. It has been just over a year since the death of Autumn and there is still hesitancy to discuss one’s mental health.

It is not easy for the Snyder family to get over the pain this quickly but we send them our deepest condolences. It also is a high time we aware people about mental health issues and encourage people to speak about it. Life is precious, do not just throw it away.
